I hope you had a pleasant half-term break. My thanks to Mrs Rose and her team who organised the Berlin Trip during the holiday. This week Year 13 Oxbridge students are sitting Admissions Tests and the first of our University Applicants have received offers.

Ribston Hall Association
The second-hand uniform sale held at the end of October raised £70 for RHA. Thank you to Mrs Stoner who organised the sale.
Alumnae Event
On Wednesday 18th October we welcomed 12 former students who met students in Years 9, 10 and 11 and talked about their careers since leaving Ribston Hall. Thanks to Mr Barnard for organising this and we look forward to more former students visiting in the future.
Examination Invigilators
We are looking to recruit new members to our invigilation team for the January and May/June examination periods. Rate of Pay is £8.20 per hour. Training will be provided. These posts are open to parents providing your daughter is not in Year 11 (due to the number of GCSE examinations). Recruitment will entail a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Congratulations to….
Eire Rowland-Evans who took part in the Tug-of-War World Championships in October. Eire pulled for the England U18 team, were narrowly beaten into 4th place by the Chinese team and she also pulled in the European Championships where they also gained a fabulous 4th place.
Isobel Thurlow who competed at the Weymouth Dance Festival over half term and won 8 gold medals and 1 silver. She will be auditioning for the 2018 Dance World Cup that is due to be held in Barcelona. Isobel has competed as part of Team England for the last 4 years.
